Freedom to Read Candidate Scorecards
We are a single-issue organization, dedicated solely to the issue of the freedom to read in Rhode Island. Our score cards grade candidates solely on where they stand on this issue. Our rating system is very simple:
- Green/for = Candidate unequivocally stands for the freedom to read.
- Yellow/mixed = Candidate mostly stands for the freedom to read, but has conflicting record, or conditional support.
- Red/against = Candidate opposes the freedom to read.
- Gray = Candidate did not respond to requests for information.
